The Center For American Studies in cooperation with the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań would like to invite you to participate in an intense and certified weekend course with a U.S. native speaker and scholar titled "Academic Writing in English Made Painless!".
It's a well-known fact that the most important skill of every academic is his or her ability to effectively communicate scholarly ideas through writing (e.g., books, essays, papers).
Our course will teach you how to master the art of academic writing in English covering grammar, sentence-building, and style as well as explaining most common mistakes and ways of avoiding them – all this using concrete examples and providing you with a chance to have your own draft of academic writing reviewed.
The course begins on Friday afternoon at 6 pm (October 15) and ends on Sunday afternoon at 2.30 pm (October 17).
